The Boudoir Experience

My job is to make you feel comfortable, safe and seen. When you show up to your session, I like to have a beverage ready for you, snacks and a private dressing area for you to get ready in your own time. Then we put on some tunes!! What is your favorite pump-me-up music? Lizzo? Beyonce? Country tunes? I’m here for it all 🙂

All of these things are designed to get you comfortable so you can have fun in front of the camera. Throughout the session, I guide you through poses that I love. However, I’m always open to collaborate.

A session with me is SO MUCH FUN! We laugh, I talk throughout the session and we get to know each other all while capturing your unique spark through photography!

The Process: What to Expect

your ideal session.

Booking a session means the fun has just begun!

Step 1 - Book & Consultation

Inquire with me via my contact form. From there, we will schedule a time to talk on the phone and begin planning your session.

Step 2 - Collaborate

I invite clients to share inspiration for their session. That could be poses, outfits/accessories, images or text that give you the "feeling" that you want to step into.

Step 3 - Prepare & self-care

One of the most important steps! Pamper yourself in the weeks and days leading up to your session. Get a massage, meditate, soak in the tub... whatever feels good.

Step 4 - Session!

Let's do this! Pop some prosecco , put on some tunes and have some fun. Bring a friend if you want -- hype-girls, welcome.

Step 5 - Select your Faves & Order Prints

After your images are edited, you will select which images and/or print products you'd like to purchase. Prepare to be BLOWN AWAY!

Step 6 - Celebrate YOU!

You actually did it! You stepped into courage and self-belief. I'm proud of you and I hope you are too.

How much is a boudoir session?

Boudoir session experiences start at $800 and include hair & makeup, styling consultations (before and during your session), and 1 hour of shooting time (~3-4 hours of time in the studio from start to finish).

Sessions take place at my gorgeous, well-lit studio located in Boone.

As your photographer, I’m also here to guide you and collaborate with you to make this experience YOURS.

Throughout the planning process, I’m here to bounce ideas off of and can help you make wardrobe or fashion decisions. I also like to see what images inspire you and encourage your to make a Pinterest board or save images that you love on Instagram.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! I want every woman to be able to have the transformational epxerience that boudoir offers. We can formulate a payment plan that works within your budget. I also book far in advance to allow you time to pay in full prior to your session.

Do you share my images?

With permission, yes. I always respect the privacy of my clients in regards to sharing on my website and social media. After you receive your images, I will ask that you let me know what restrictions you have about sharing (if any) and/or request that you select which images are approved for sharing. I want to offer this service to every woman and I love ALL the images I take of my clients. Thus, sharing is important for me as a business. However, as a professional my clients’ confidence and trust is of the utmost importance to me.

What should I wear?

I invite you to bring several outfits to your session so you can lean into inspiration in the moment. If you would like to send me ideas for wardrobe pieces, I am here to bounce ideas off of and offer advice.

Here are my suggestions for various items to bring at your session in order of priority:

1) A black OR a white lacy outfit

2) Color – blue, purple, pink, green, gold, you name it!

3) Comfort – cotton undies, a flannel shirt or cozy sweater, a teddy

4) Something spicy – strappy, leather, revealing — spice it up!
